Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all services, networks, systems, websites, applications, equipment, and communications services provided by Joink, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Services, customers, users, and end users (“Users”) agree to comply with this AUP.
This AUP is intended to protect the security, integrity, reliability, and lawful operation of the Services and the Company’s network, and to protect Company, customers, users, and third parties.
Prohibited Uses
Users may not use the Services in any manner that:
- Violates any applicable law, regulation, court order, or governmental requirement;
- Infringes or misappropriates intellectual property or proprietary rights;
- Transmits unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, abusive, threatening, obscene, or malicious content;
- Interferes with, disrupts, degrades, or harms the Services, network, systems, or other users;
- Attempts to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, devices, or data;
- Circumvents or attempts to circumvent security, authentication, or access controls;
- Distributes malware, ransomware, spyware, viruses, malicious code, or other harmful software;
- Conducts phishing, spoofing, denial-of-service attacks, network scanning, or similar abusive activity;
- Sends unsolicited bulk or commercial messages in violation of applicable law;
- Facilitates illegal robocalling, unlawful telemarketing, caller ID spoofing, or fraudulent communications activity;
- Uses the Services in a manner that violates the rights, privacy, or security of others; or
- Resells or redistributes the Services except as expressly authorized by Company.
Network Integrity and Security
Users must use the Services in a manner that does not impair or interfere with the operation, security, or performance of the Company’s network or Services.
Company may implement reasonable network management, security, spam filtering, fraud prevention, abuse mitigation, traffic management, or other protective measures consistent with applicable law and Company policies.
Residential and Business Service Restrictions
Unless expressly permitted under the applicable service plan or Service Order, residential Services may not be used for enterprise hosting, public-facing commercial server operations, or other prohibited high-volume or commercial activities that materially interfere with network operations or other users.
Business Services may be subject to separate service terms, technical limitations, or acceptable use requirements.
Customer Responsibility
Users are responsible for:
- Activity occurring through their accounts, devices, systems, or credentials;
- Maintaining appropriate security measures for their devices and systems;
- Cooperating with reasonable investigations involving suspected abuse, fraud, or violations of this AUP; and
- Promptly notifying Company of known security incidents, unauthorized access, or misuse involving the Services.
Copyright and Intellectual Property
Users may not use the Services to infringe copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights.
Company may suspend or terminate Services for repeat or material copyright infringement or other unlawful activity consistent with applicable law, including 17 U.S.C. § 512.
Enforcement and Cooperation
Company may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and may suspend, restrict, or terminate Services, remove content, block traffic, or take other reasonable actions to protect the Services, network, customers, Company, or third parties.
Company may cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, or other authorized parties regarding suspected unlawful activity, subject to applicable law.
No Monitoring Obligation
Company does not undertake a general obligation to monitor network activity, communications, or content. Company reserves the right to monitor, review, preserve, and disclose information as reasonably necessary to:
- Protect the Services, network, systems, customers, or Company;
- Comply with legal obligations or lawful requests;
- Enforce this AUP or other Company policies; or
- Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security incidents, abuse, or unlawful activity.
Policy Changes
Company may modify this AUP from time to time by posting an updated version on its website. Continued use of the Services after such posting constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
