Joink, LLC was founded as an Internet Service Provider, providing dial-up, DSL and fixed wireless broadband Internet services.  Today, the company provides connectivity for customers who span the landscape from residential to enterprise using technologies that include leased lines, unlicensed wireless, licensed wireless, and fiber optics.  Also, the company provides managed hosting services including virtual machine, web/email, and offsite backup storage.  And finally, the Company’s technology services group leverages its enterprise knowledge of networking, software, storage, and telephony technologies to provide design, installation, and continued supported around key technologies from companies such as VMware, Cisco UCS, IBM, Veeam and Microsoft.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position primarily focuses on serving as a point of contact in Joink’s warehouse and as part of the overall warehouse team. This employee will receive all items, sign out materials, deliver materials to customers/team members, and oversee all organization of inventory.

  • Warehouse Supervisor

SUPERVISES

  • No direct reports
  • May lead, train, or participate in work team assignments

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Record receipt of inventory and non-stock items
  2. Maintain the inventory of items, shelving and organizing on a daily basis
  3. Perform a physical count of inventory on routine basis
  4. Sign out materials in accordance to procedures
  5. Prepare materials for the OSP team 
  6. Participate in vehicle stocking and maintenance, working with inspector
  7. Maintain outdoor OSP inventory
  8. Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, both indoors and outdoors
  9. Assist with tracking and reporting the status of items that have been ordered as needed
  10. Safely use forklift/order picker to move inventory
  11. Inspect and maintain equipment. Keeping a daily inspection log
  12. Work with inventory control and purchasing to resolve inventory/receiving discrepancies
  13. Break down reels and assist with yard maintenance activities as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Adept in verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrates a strong passion to train and resolve end user questions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma
  • Ability to drive a forklift 
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Candidate must be willing to reside near or commute to Terre Haute, Indiana.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift
  • Occasional before work/after work meetings and events
  • Primarily outdoors, though warehouse has office that is heated/cooled
