POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Infrastructure Technician is responsible for all onsite service and support needs for our customers. This relates to all technology and includes workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions that meet the company’s technical requirements and business needs.
- Manage and optimize AWS, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and SharePoint Online to ensure seamless collaboration and data security.
- Maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Administer and optimize virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, VMWare, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
- Oversee Microsoft IIS and .Net applications, ensuring their availability, performance, and security.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, policies, and compliance standards across the IT infrastructure.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, network technicians, and security experts, to achieve project goals and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS
Key qualifications to fill this position are:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related technical field or relevant work experience
- Must possess 4-7 years of hands-on experience in the following:
- Enterprise-level Microsoft infrastructure experience, including Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Exchange/Email, SQL Server, and similar.
- Direct experience managing multi-server virtual environments
- Virtualized systems such as VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Citrix
- AWS, Azure Cloud Services Administration and knowledge of PowerShell and JSON scripting
- Experience working with monitoring and alerting tools
- Troubleshooting experience with application systems deployments
- Candidate must be willing to reside near or commute to a Joink office (Currently within Illinois: Taylorville, Hillsboro; Indiana: Terre Haute)
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- 40 hours per week
- After hours maintenance as required
- Regular travel to customer locations, some office work
- On-call/PagerDuty escalation
