ABOUT THE COMPANY

Joink, LLC was founded as an Internet Service Provider, providing dial-up, DSL and fixed wireless broadband Internet services.  Today, the company provides connectivity for customers who span the landscape from residential to enterprise using technologies that include leased lines, unlicensed wireless, licensed wireless, and fiber optics.  Also, the company provides managed hosting services including virtual machine, web/email, and offsite backup storage.  And finally, the Company’s technology services group leverages its enterprise knowledge of networking, software, storage, and telephony technologies to provide design, installation, and continued supported around key technologies from companies such as VMware, Cisco UCS, IBM, Veeam and Microsoft.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for working across different systems to automate data gathering and reporting, produce reports and visuals, and leverage tools to generate datasets as well assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Work across disparate systems to produce weekly reporting on construction metrics
2. Collaborate with business system team to automate data gathering and reporting between platforms
3. Collaborate with business system team and accounting team to review and QA/QC data and report on variances
4. Prepare budget to actual comparisons of per unit construction costs and subscriber revenue
5. Prepare visuals for senior management to use internally and in meetings with the board and investors
6. Collaborate in the preparation of project-level budgets and forecasts for use in the annual budget
7. Leverage tools such as Salesforce, ArcGIS and accounting systems to generate datasets for various reporting requirements
8. Analyze data searching for trends and anomalies within datasets and describe the findings

    

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to communicate data and trends in a graphical presentation
• Ability to learn/understand various departments and their flow of data

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Math, Statistics, Econ, Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, Finance, MBA, or MS Data Analytics (required)
• Extensive knowledge in Excel, SQL, and data structures (required)
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) (preferred)
• 3-5 years’ experience in data analysis (preferred)
• Experience with Python and Power BI (preferred)
• Candidate must be willing to reside near or commute to Terre Haute, Indiana

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Friday, with overtime as needed
• Occasional before work/after work meetings and events
