ABOUT THE COMPANY
Joink, LLC was founded as an Internet Service Provider, providing dial-up, DSL and fixed wireless broadband Internet services. Today, the company provides connectivity for customers who span the landscape from residential to enterprise using technologies that include leased lines, unlicensed wireless, licensed wireless, and fiber optics. Also, the company provides managed hosting services including virtual machine, web/email, and offsite backup storage. And finally, the Company’s technology services group leverages its enterprise knowledge of networking, software, storage, and telephony technologies to provide design, installation, and continued supported around key technologies from companies such as VMware, Cisco UCS, IBM, Veeam and Microsoft.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position will assist in the coordination of installation scheduling, verifying that Joink’s systems are kept up to date and maintaining contact with customers, use 811 to request locates for orders, ensure order status is kept up to date, review construction drawings and as-built, assist in taking calls on complaints, and track and coordinate contractor work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Coordinate residential and/or SMB orders from post-sale to post-activation.
- Work with in-house team members to maintain knowledge of install requirements.
- Call to coordinate scheduling of work with customer, following up with customer after each step with status updates.
- Notify any permitting authorities of the work planned (if required).
- Use 811 to request locates for orders.
- Print and distribute plans as needed.
- Verify that Joink’s systems are kept updated with details from each phase of work as well as a correct overall status and achievable target completion date.
- Close out any bonds or permits entered for the order with internal team members.
- Assist in taking calls on complaints, using internal tools to track customer concerns.
- Review construction drawings and as-builts.
- Track and coordinate contractor work, including:
- Negotiate and source contractor agreements, ensuring appropriate certificates of insurance and signed contracts are obtained and filed.
- Coordinate kickoff meetings with contractors.
- Verify valid permits prior to releasing to contractors.
- Use computer system to plan, research, and execute the coordination of contractors Maintain calendars/spreadsheets with the appropriate schedule dates for necessary contract crews.
- Track, enter, and maintain accurate contractor footages then verify invoicing.
- Data entry as needed for contractor crews.
- Scan as-built drawings as returned from contractors.
- Coordinate with and schedule the inspection team.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years’ experience in coordinating projects or schedules or equivalent education
- Customer service experience
- Candidate must be willing to reside near or commute to a Joink office (Currently within Illinois: Taylorville, Hillsboro; Indiana: Terre Haute)
- Candidates which have the following will have priority:
- Bachelors degree in related field
- Experience reading maps/distances/aerial images
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- 40 hours per week
- Office Environment
- Willingness to travel to other Joink offices, industry conferences, etc.
