Mark VanBuskirk, Percussionist
Mark grew up in Lake County, IN and now resides in Clinton, IN and is
self-employed in fire truck repair. Mark began playing drums in 9th grade
and has been playing ever since. He attended two years at ISU as a music
major and has played in several secular bands.
In 1986, Jesus touched his heart and accepted Jesus as his personal savior and
was baptized. Through this conviction, Mark no longer plays in secular
groups. Instead, he is using his talent as a percussionist by being
part of the music team at his church and playing for Jesus. In 2001, he
started playing with Redeemed, Saved By Grace and is an original member of
Crimson Cross Quartet.
He considers it an honor and a privilege to serve the Lord in this capacity and
hopes to introduce the lost to Christ. Not only is it a pleasure to play
to listeners who are also Christians that also want to praise the Lord and to
rejoice right along with the group.
Mark and his wife, Tracey are active members of State Line Christian Church.
Mark serves as an elder, Sunday school Teacher and part of the praise
team. Tracey is a Sunday school Teacher, church secretary and part of the
Ladies' Group at the church. They are also the proud parents of Chris and
Brittany, who are both active in the youth group at their church.
