This page is dedicated to any and all MoPar cars that have ever been or will ever be. No other brand of car will ever be found among these pages!! |
| ATTENTION: BE AWARE, SPREAD THE WORD! My ISP was bought
out a while back, and now the new ISP, joink.com, has decided to do away
with the old abcs.com server. Soooooooooooooooooooo my URL is now http://www.joink.com/homes/users/cooke/welcome.html.
Since I am being forced to switch ISPs/URLs, I will probably be switching
ISPs again, to a dedicated server with different company. I might as well
go with something cheaper, something I like better, and something that
wont force me to change my URL again! Eventually I will probably have my
own domain as well (something like www.claysmopars.com). Stay tuned,
and thanks! -Clay
UPDATE: Most people know, some dont, and some just dont care, BUT for those who might be intersted, I was married, and happily, on October 30, of this year (2004, in case I dont update this again for a while!). I know, I know, I really need to update this page more often! :) Im going to make an effort to do so, especially if I get a new car. For "me" updates go here: Clay's Complete Guide to Clay So, in my quest for inexpensive MoPar fun, I purchased an 87 GLHS, which
I owned for about 2 years, then sold when I found a MUCH nicer one owner
87 Shelby GLH-S in excellent all original condition! For those of you who
dont know much about these wrong wheel drive cars, they are boat loads
of fun, inexpensive to make fast, and dont look *to* bad for an 80s FWD
car. I know, I know, a FWD??!?!?! car? Yeah, Im not loaded yet, if I were,
my Road Runner would be done! But these cars are just to much fun, and
for cheap! My first GLHS dynoed at 200HP to the FRONT wheels, with basically
no modifications. Its was a great little car, kinda cramped for my large
frame, but VERY fun to drive. You just can't beat cheap and fun! BUT, there
is still something GREAT about expensive and fun RWD big block cars!
With my new Turbo Dodge interests, I have also taken on a new segment to my web page. I volunteered to take over the SDML Readers Rides pages, as well as the C/S Registry from the great guy who started the pages, Butch. He has agreed to let me take over these very well put together pages and host them on my site. Here are the links: Also, for those of you who would like questions answered, want
info on fender tags, or VIN codes, or any original info about your car,
or what ever... feel free to ask... I got lots of stuff for reference and
would be happy to make use of it....

| Well for those of you who don't know it, I have opened my History of
the Road Runner page up, and it is very slowly growing, but now since I
have started this I have gotten a good idea. I am going to start a Road
Runner Registry (RRR) of all Road Runners from 1968 all the way to
1980. It doesn't matter what shape or anything, for more info one what
to do, go to my Road Runner page here.
