Joink, LLC was founded as an Internet Service Provider, providing dial-up, DSL and fixed wireless broadband Internet services. Today, the company provides connectivity for customers who span the landscape from residential to enterprise using technologies that include leased lines, unlicensed wireless, licensed wireless, and fiber optics. Also, the company provides managed hosting services including virtual machine, web/email, and offsite backup storage. And finally, the Company’s technology services group leverages its enterprise knowledge of networking, software, storage, and telephony technologies to provide design, installation, and continued supported around key technologies from companies such as VMware, Cisco UCS, IBM, Veeam and Microsoft.


This associate is an integral component of the back-office support staff at Joink. This associate is responsible for coordinating and overseeing grant applications and management of grant deliverables. Follow-up, sales, and order coordination with the customers represented by the grant would be expected. Routine reports related to grant deliverables, data analysis, and coordination across departments would be required.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to both identify projects and secure funding
  • Coordinate, develop, and administer all grant processes including but not limited to:
    •     Evaluates the grant opportunity
    •     Develops or completes grant applications and related documents (ex: required reports, budgets, etc.) for the purpose of submitting to the appropriate funding agency
    •     Assists in the review and negotiation of the grant agreement
    •     Once awarded:
      •             Monitors budget versus actual expenditures related to the grant and provides internal summary to management
      •             Hosts grant authorities for site visits
      •             Prepares and submits required reports under the grant
      •             Periodically reports on all grant compliance matters
  • Organizes all documentation and maintains compliance with grantor retention policy 
  • Leads sales efforts to close residential sales along the route and reviews/prepares campaign for sales team of SMB sales along path 
  • Participates in suggesting marketing materials and leave-behind documentation for service 
  • Prepares summaries of any project modifications for review internally and submission to grantor 
  • Serves as primary point of contact for properties within the grant footprint (including homes passed as a result of the grant but not served under the grant), confirming eligibility for service, answers installation question, administers satisfaction survey 
  • Reviews activation and billing statistics for homes and businesses within grant footprint 
  • Coordinates with HR for applicable documentation related to HR components of grant (ex: Drug-Free Certification, e-verify administration)

  • High School Diploma
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (preferred)
  • Experience with and MS Word/MS Excel (preferred)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word
  • 2-3 years’ experience in grant management/non-profit (preferred)
  • 1-2 years’ sales experience, preferably residential
  • Candidate must be willing to reside near or commute to Terre Haute, Indiana


  • 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Friday, with overtime as needed
  • Occasional before work/after work meetings and events
  • Less than 10% overnight travel
