About Joink
Josh Zuerner – President and CEO
Josh has been with Joink since April of 2004. He is a graduate of Purdue University’s School of Management in West Lafayette, IN where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Managements with minors in MIS and Finance. Josh began his career at Joink as the VP of Technology after integrating his IT consulting business into Joink. Prior to joining Joink, Josh served as a vendor to Joink, consulting on matters including business management software and network architecture. Josh has held various industry designations from manufacturers such as ESI, Cisco, Microsoft, and VMware. Josh has been instrumental in Joink’s growth, leading all acquisitions as well as organic growth in providing new offerings in all four divisions – including connectivity, hosting, IT professional services, and managed services.

 

Jackie McDonald, VP of Operations
Jackie McDonald is the VP of Operations at Joink. She joined Joink in 2012. In her time at Joink, she has served the organization as an Implementation Coordinator and Client Services Operations Manager. Today, as the VP of Operations, she is responsible for human resources, organizational policies, and development of internal processes. Jackie oversees eight direct reports and six indirect reports. She attended Indiana State University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Insurance and Risk Management. Outside of work, Jackie enjoys spending time with her family and growing her MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schooler’s) group.

 

Chad Killion, VP of Technology
Chad Killion, in his current role as VP of Technology at Joink, is responsible for strategic planning, oversight, and management of all things technology. Chad joined Joink in 2008 and has served the company in many roles during his tenure. He has been instrumental in crafting implementation plans, supervising the work, and following up post installation as it pertains to testing and evaluation of solutions. Chad oversees three direct reports. In addition, he has specialized in VMware configuration and deployment for environments ranging from small businesses to large enterprises. Chad earned his bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Indiana State University in 2002. Outside of work Chad is involved with the Boy Scouts of America in leadership positions and enjoys family time, electronics, and guitars.

 

Brian Gray, Connectivity Manager
Brian is the Connectivity Manager at Joink. He joined Joink in 2004. In his time at Joink, he has served the organization as Network Administrator and Connectivity Manager. Prior to joining Joink, Brian worked as a subcontractor to Joink, performing wireless installations and performing tower climbing. Brian’s focus at Joink is managing all aspects of the day-to-day technical operations of the Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) network and performing all day-to-day maintenance on the core network including central office patching. Brian has more than twenty years of experience in information technology services and support. Brian oversees six direct reports and one indirect report. Brian attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema and Photography. He has significant experience providing support to Higher Education, particularly in the deployment of new technology, computer repair, and all aspects of network infrastructure. Brian is a certified competent climber and Cambium ePMP expert. Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his family.
 

Bryce Brown, Engineering Manager
Bryce Brown is the Engineering Manager at Joink. He joined Joink in 2013. In his time at Joink, he has served the organization as Field Engineer and Engineering Manager. Today, as the Engineering Manager, he is responsible for design of the fiber optic plant and its associated elements including passive components and active electronics. Bryce oversees five direct reports. Bryce attended Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering. Outside of work, Bryce enjoys spending time with his family.

 

Lisa Lively, Controller
Lisa Lively is the Controller at Joink. She joined Joink in 2005 in the role of Assistant Controller. Today, as Controller, she is responsible for cash management, payroll, the general ledger, and financial statement preparation. Lisa attended Ivy Tech and earned a degree in Accounting. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family.

 

Tyler Phegley, Activation Manager
Tyler Phegley is the Field Services Manager at Joink. He joined Joink in October 2013. In his time at Joink, he has served the organization as Voice and Data Technician, Field Splicer, Field Inspector, Field Services Manager, and is now the Activation Manager. He is responsible for managing the installation of fiber cable, validating the accuracy of outside plant placement, inspecting the work quality of outside plant construction, splicing of fiber cables, and placement and activation of electronics. Tyler attended Indiana State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Tyler is also Cisco certified in Routing, Switching and Security. Tyler holds certifications in proper cabling and connectivity through the worldwide BICSI standards organization. Outside of work, Tyler is a husband of 13 years, father of 3 girls, as well as Deacon and Music Director at First Southern Baptist Church.

 

Matthew Tegtmeyer, Managed Services Manager
Matthew Tegtmeyer is the Managed Services Manager at Joink. He joined Joink in 2017 as part of the acquisition of CS Technology Center, where he served as CEO. Today, as the Managed Services Manager, he is responsible for the development and service delivery of the Managed Services division of Joink. Matthew oversees five direct reports. Matthew is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Outside of work, Matthew enjoys boating and camping with his family.
