1. I had old e-mails saved. Where's my old mail? - Any old mail left on the old ABCS mail server prior to the server changeover can still be accessed at the following URLs: http://198.77.52.50 OR http://198.77.52.51 When logging in you will need to use the following format for your username: user@legacy.abcs.com. So, as an example, if your ABCS e-mail address is johnqsmith@abcs.com, then you would log in here as johnqsmith@legacy.abcs.com.
2. Did any of my passwords change? - No, none of your passwords would have changed.
3. Does this affect my internet access? - No, these changes will not impact your internet access in any way.
4. I use a mail client like Eudora, Outlook or Netscape. Does this affect me? - These changes should not affect you in any way. HOWEVER - if you use a mail client and you're experiencing difficulties getting your mail you will probably want to verify your mail server settings. Those settings should be as follows:
Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - mail.abcs.com
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - mail.abcs.com
If you are unsure how to check these settings see point #5 below for contact information. 5. I'm still having problems. Who can I call? - You can call Joink's Customer Care department at 812/234-5100 or toll free at 888/31 JOINK. |
